Time to go enjoy wildflowers up high! We’ll meet at Pollock Pines Safeway at 9 and then head up to the Lyons Creek trailhead near Wrights Lake. Rich Wade, longtime wildflower walk leader at Wrights Lake, will guide us on a fun stroll to see a wonderful array of many different species of wildflowers. We will be off trail so wear sturdy shoes. Bring water and a lunch for a creekside picnic. Those of us who wish will then continue as a moderate hike up the Lyons Creek trail.  We will end about 2, returning to Pollock Pines about 3.  (We were going to go to Caples Creek area but realized that Caldor fire footprint has made that less enjoyable).
