Great job on July 30! We took down bags and bags of star thistle and stinkwort! On Saturday, August 29 we’ll continue our weeding in other areas of Pine Hill Preserve that need our attention. You’ll want to bring gloves (that you don’t mind getting sticky resin on), lots of water, and your favorite weeding tool (just an old knife works well). Wear a hat, a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, and sturdy shoes/boots. We’ll have cold sparkling water and snacks ready when we’re finished for the day.

Remember that you will be rewarded with one free plant of your choice at our fall Plant Sale in October as a reward for helping with this crucial project aiding the special habitats of the rare native plants of the Preserve! We’re looking forward to spending time with you!
